Here are four aspects of communication skills

  1. Clarity and Conciseness: The ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly. Avoiding jargon, using simple language, and organizing thoughts logically contribute to effective communication.

  1. Adaptability: The ability to adjust communication style based on the audience, context, and purpose. Being adaptable helps in connecting with diverse individuals and navigating different communication scenarios.

  1. Conflict Resolution: The skill of managing and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner. This involves effective negotiation, compromise, and finding mutually beneficial solutions.

Communication skills empowers individuals to actively participate in their mental health journey. 

Effective communication transcends the mere exchange of information; it involves offering acknowledgement to others, ensuring they not only receive the message but also feel genuinely heard and understood.  Moreover, communication skills play a vital role in challenging and dismantling the stigma surrounding mental health.
